Yoga Flow
Wednesdays 3:45pm - 4:45pm
Yoga Flow is a vinyasa style of yoga where the poses are synchronized with the breath in a continuous rhythmic flow. Because it’s a dynamic style, vinyasa flow practice will help you develop cardiovascular fitness, stamina and endurance. The flow can be meditative in nature, calming the mind and nervous systems, even though you’re moving. It’s great for learning to use the breath as a tool.
Whenever needed clear modifications are offered, and no prior yoga experience is required.

Traditional Thai Massage
With Yan Han
Traditional Thai massage is a dynamic form of bodywork that combines rhythmic compression, acupressure and assisted stretching to help ease muscular tension, support mobility and promote deep relaxation. Sometimes described as “assisted yoga,” the treatment encourages comfortable movement through a series of guided positions tailored to your flexibility and needs.
Unlike conventional table massage, traditional Thai massage is usually performed on a padded floor mat. Clients remain fully clothed, and massage oil is generally not used. We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
Each session is adapted to your comfort level and may be especially appealing to people experiencing general stiffness, muscular tension or reduced flexibility—or anyone looking for an energizing alternative to conventional Swedish massage.
Please note: Traditional Thai massage at Magnus Clinic is a non-registered bodywork service and is not eligible for reimbursement through extended-health insurance plans.

Meet Yan — Our Yoga Therapist and Thai Massage Practitioner
Yan has been passionate about natural healing from a young age. After attending her first yoga class in 2015, she quickly developed a deep connection to the practice and its therapeutic potential.
She completed her first yoga teacher training in China in 2016 and began teaching shortly thereafter. As her teaching evolved, Yan became increasingly interested in understanding the human body more deeply. This led her to pursue additional training in anatomy, myofascial release, breathing patterns, joint mechanics, Pilates, personal training, and Zumba.
After immigrating to Canada, Yan completed a second 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2023 and went on to specialize in Yoga Therapy. She completed the Foundations of Yoga Therapy Certificate and the Advanced Yoga Therapy Diploma, to earn her Certification as a Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) through the Vancouver School of Healing Arts. Most recently, Yan has completed her Level 2 in Traditional Thai Massage from the Vancouver campus of the Thai Yoga Massage School Canada based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Yan chose to specialize in chronic pain during her yoga therapy studies, as this area resonated most deeply with her personal and professional experience. Having lived with chronic pain for over 15 years, she brings compassion, understanding, and strong motivation to her work. She finds great fulfillment in supporting clients as they reduce pain, reconnect with their bodies, and improve their quality of life.
Outside of her clinical work and studies, Yan volunteers as a group facilitator with Pain BC. She enjoys reading, camping with her dogs, and spending time with animals — she currently has three dogs and two cats. Yan also loves traveling, both locally and internationally, to explore new places, cultures, and cuisines.
