Personalized Acupuncture Care to Support Your Health & Wellness

Acupuncture is a foundational practice within Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that involves the insertion of very fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body. At our clinic in Richmond, BC, these points are selected to support the body’s natural healing processes, promote balance, and help regulate various physiological systems.

At Magnus Health & Wellness, acupuncture is commonly used to support concerns such as:

  • Arthritis and joint discomfort

  • Sciatica and back pain

  • Digestive concerns

  • Sleep challenges, including insomnia

  • Hormonal health and menstrual cycle support

  • Stress, tension, and nervous system regulation

Treatment involves the gentle placement of thin, disposable needles at carefully chosen acupuncture points. Depending on your needs, needles may be stimulated manually or with mild electrical stimulation. Most people find acupuncture to be deeply relaxing and experience little to no discomfort during treatment.

Acupuncture About

Our Approach to Acupuncture at Magnus Health & Wellness

At Magnus Health & Wellness, acupuncture care is thoughtful, individualized, and grounded in both Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and modern clinical understanding. Treatments are guided by your health history, current concerns, and long-term goals, allowing care to be adapted to your changing needs over time.

Our acupuncturists take a holistic view of health, considering the physical, emotional, and nervous-system influences that can contribute to discomfort or imbalance. This approach allows us to support a wide range of concerns while ensuring each session remains responsive and client-centred.

Acupuncture may be used on its own or as part of an integrated care plan, working alongside services such as Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, TMJ Massage, or Yoga Therapy to support your overall well-being.
