How is Non-Registered Massage different from Registered Massage Therapy?
Explore our range of massage therapies tailored to your needs. Experience the benefits of both registered and non-registered options for optimal wellness.

Massage Therapy vs Bodywork
Registered massage therapy offers clinical benefits, while non-registered options more typically focus on relaxation, however our bodyworkers have undergone all the training to become registered massage therapists and are simply waiting to write their provincial board exams. All our practitioners are committed to providing the best care possible within their allowed scope of practice.
Let us know how we can help you choose the best fit for your wellness journey.

Choosing Wisely
Consider your health goals, preferences and financial situation. Registered therapists are qualified to focus on rehabilitation and can bill directly to most extended health insurance providers, ICBC, MSP and WorkSafeBC.

Non-registered services emphasize relaxation and stress relief, but are NOT covered by any insurance providers. Therefore, the fees for massage done by a bodyworker is considered an "out of pocket" expense.

Benefits
Both types of massage can enhance your well-being.
The benefits of a massage by a bodyworker are not necessarily less than that of a massage from an RMT. Often, the cost is the most obvious difference, however this can work well for anyone who doesn't have insurance coverage for massage or for those whose annual benefits have been exhausted. You can get a session with a practitioner who has undergone all the training but at almost half the cost!

Evaluate your needs to determine which service aligns with your health objectives AND your budget.
