NEW SERVICES
DRY NEEDLING (PHYSIOTHERAPY)

Our Physiotherapist, Carol, is now offering dry needling! Dry needling is a therapeutic technique used to treat muscle pain and tension. It involves inserting thin needles into specific trigger points within a muscle. The goal is to release tight bands of muscle or fascia, promote blood flow, and help facilitate the body's natural healing processes.
Clients may experience a sensation of relief or a twitch response during treatment, indicating the technique is working. Dry needling can be an effective method for conditions such as chronic pain, sports injuries, or post-surgical rehabilitation, and is commonly used alongside other physio treatments for recovery.
MEET CAROL
Languages: English, Cantonese, Mandarin
Carol completed her Master of Physiotherapy Studies from the University of Queensland, Master of Science in Sports Medicine and Health Sciences from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. She has a wide variety of rehabilitation experience, including working with international-level athletes, individuals with work or motor vehicle injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. She has also practiced in the emergency, intensive care unit (ICU), and long-term care settings.

HOT STONE MASSAGE

Discover the perfect balance of warmth and coolness in this luxurious treatment with Tom. Smooth volcanic basalt stones deliver deep, penetrating heat to release muscle tension, while cool marble stones provide a refreshing contrast to reduce inflammation and invigorate circulation.
You can choose from two deeply relaxing options:
1️⃣ Full-Body Stone Massage
2️⃣ Neck, Shoulder & Face Renewal
MEET TOM
Tom graduated from the Registered Massage Therapy program at VCC, where he was
selected as valedictorian of his class. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Social
Sciences with a minor in Biology from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
Before pursuing a career in massage therapy, Tom spent seven years as a Surgical
Recovery Specialist at BC Transplant and Trillium Gift of Life Network in Toronto, and
served eight years in the Army, where he was part of an elite Forward Surgical Team.

These experiences provided him with a strong foundation in healthcare, patient care, and teamwork, which he now brings to his massage practice.
Tom’s massage style is rooted in traditional Swedish massage, complemented by
passive stretching. He has furthered his training with continuing education in therapeutic hot stone massage and the treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD). He is especially interested in treating the head, neck, and shoulder regions of the body.
COMING IN 2026!
Beginning February 2026, we’re expanding our offerings with new yoga classes and traditional Thai massage sessions - two deeply complementary ways to support balance, mobility, and relaxation.
Our yoga classes will invite you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your body through mindful movement and grounding practices designed to restore ease and flow.
Thai massage, often called “assisted yoga,” combines gentle stretching, rhythmic pressure, and mindful touch to release tension, improve circulation, and open the body’s natural energy pathways.
Together, these new offerings create more opportunities to unwind stress, restore vitality, and nourish your well-being from the inside out.
