ACUPUNCTURE
We can help you reach your health & wellness goals
Acupuncture is a fundamental practice in traditional Chinese medicine which involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to promote healing and alleviate various health conditions.
Acupuncture can help alleviate symptoms of arthritis, sciatica, back pain, bursitis and neuropathy, among many other conditions.

The technique involves inserting thin, disposable needles into specific acupuncture points throughout the body. The needles may be manipulated by the hands or by an electrical stimulation. Most people find acupuncture relaxing and experience minimal discomfort.
PERSONALIZED CARE AND TREATMENT PLANS
During an appointment with Dr. Janet Lo, you can expect a thorough evaluation that combines traditional Chinese medicine diagnostics with modern neurological assessments. This integrative approach allows the development of a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. The acupuncture sessions are designed to be comfortable and relaxing, aiming to address both the physical and energetic aspects of your health.

In the context of neurological disorders, acupuncture is believed to stimulate the nervous system, enhance blood circulation, and modulate neurotransmitter activity, which may help to manage symptoms associated with conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and post-stroke rehabilitation.
Dr Janet Lo, our Registered Acupuncturist, focuses on integrating acupuncture with conventional neurological care to address both common and complex neurological conditions. This holistic approach aims to provide comprehensive care that considers the physical, emotional, and energetic aspects of health.
It’s important to note that while acupuncture is considered safe when performed by trained practitioners, its effectiveness can vary among individuals. Dr. Janet Lo encourages open communication during our sessions to ensure the best possible outcomes for your health and well-being.
